For extreme conditions, the battery operates in outside temperatures as low as 0 deg F and is designed with a three-light LED fuel gage indicating the state of charge.

The battery changes voltage when going from 20V MAX to 60V MAX tools and is compatible with a variety of 20V MAX tools and chargers. When used with 20V MAX tools, it will provide extended runtime when compared to a similar capacity 20V MAX battery.
